Research in Digital Economy (RiDE) is a duly registered not-for-profit organisation in Nigeria, established in the year 2023 with the primary objective of conducting independent public interest research in the areas of the digital economy, innovation, and technology. Our aim is to provide valuable insights and knowledge that serve as a foundation for systemic-level advocacy within various stakeholder communities. These insights are intended to inform and shape the discourse surrounding public policies that pertain to the digital economy, innovation, and technology.

Our primary aims at RiDE are to:

• Conduct public interest research in all areas of the digital economy;

• Undertake advocacy campaigns on public interest issues of the digital economy;
• Conduct and organise training for stakeholders on public interest issues of the digital economy;
• Engage international and national stakeholders and policy-makers on public interest issues of the digital economy;
• Advocate for consumer rights protections in the digital economy; and
• Conduct advocacy and analysis of digital rights issues.

Through these aims, RiDE seeks to contribute to the enhancement of governance and the promotion of social justice for all individuals within the digital economy.
